Goddess
Goddess is a pair of earrings shaped as small human figures in two different postures. One figure stands with the feet level and shoulder-width apart, while the other lifts one knee. One figure holds a gemstone and the other steps on a gemstone, referring to self-knowledge and social responsibility. Each posture carries two gemstones of different sizes, calculated to keep both earrings consistent. The figures are modeled with 3D sculpture technology and cast in gold. Facial features and hair are omitted to keep the human form pure.
Goddess Earring by SHANSHAN HUANG was highlighted as an outstanding representation of fashion design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Goddess Earring won the Silver A' Design Award in Jewelry Design in 2020. The A' Jewelry Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which rewards excellent design of rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, brooches, pendants, cufflinks, anklets and more.
