Piccola Enoteca
Piccola Enoteca is an Italian restaurant interior located in Zhubei City, Taiwan. The design occupies six floors on a narrow site facing the street. Balconies with black handrails shape the facade, while large doors and windows add depth to the exterior. Each floor is defined by a different use and by a color that remains part of one unified system. The basement is formed like a grotto with a mysterious ambiance. An internal courtyard extends the visual depth and draws the view upward to starry lighting fixtures. Materials include hand made blackened steel, marble and wood.
Piccola Enoteca Restaurant by Iun Lung Lu was identified as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Piccola Enoteca Restaurant earned the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
