Golden Life
Golden Life is a packaging design for green plum wine. The form is inspired by traditional Japanese architecture with Chinese elements, including temple and house profiles and the curves of Zen buildings. A golden color reflects the tone of the wine. The outer box is made of composite paper combined with polyethylene and foil, while the bottle is made of glass, a chemically stable material that is not corroded by alcohol or acids. An opening on the side saves material and production steps. A removable ring and a ribbon hold the package closed and make it easy to carry.
Golden Life Wine Packaging by Bruce Tao has been identified as a creative illustration of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Golden Life Wine Packaging earned the Iron A' Design Award in Packaging Design in 2020. The A' Packaging Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize which celebrates outstanding design of bottles, boxes, cans, pouches, tubes, cartons, wrappers, bags and more.
