Play Around Light
Play Around The Light is a residential interior design for a duplex apartment. The living room has a height of six meters, and its main wall of stone and wood extends upward to draw attention. The stairway connecting the two floors is placed under the dining room, and its base displays sculptures collected by the owner. Suspension and indirect lighting highlight the artworks. The open area between the dining space and the kitchen creates a circular flow. Public and private areas are clearly divided, and concealed storage supports the space.
Play Around Light Residential Space by Chen Chin-Shu was highlighted as an exceptional representation of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Play Around Light Residential Space earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020.
