Bailu
Bailu is a residential interior design for a private villa in Chengdu. The original building was an American-style villa of 660 square meters, and its layout did not suit the modern living habits of the owners. The space was expanded and reorganized into a simple modern villa of 1000 square meters, while the original exterior was kept. Each room was given a more balanced area, and a billiards room was added on the lower floor. Natural stone, solid wood and marble were used. White surfaces and open areas give the interior a calm and artistic character.
Bailu Residential House by Haoling Yu was recognized as a grand illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Bailu Residential House received the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which celebrates exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
