Art Movement
Art Movement is a two-story residential interior in Tainan, Taiwan. The design joins the industrial style with refined details. The walls are covered with architectural concrete, while a single type of wood veneer gives the rooms a unified tone. Iron pieces form layers and lines, and titanium plating covers and connects the different materials. Large windows, glass partitions and open shelves bring daylight inside and link the two floors. Seven irregular shelves under the stairs display figurines and artworks. A corridor on the second floor connects the interior with the outdoor view.
Art Movement Residential House by Wu Pei Yun was identified as an outstanding illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Art Movement Residential House won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
