Pal
Pal is a mobile application designed to reduce loneliness among young adults affected by social media dependency. The application uses blockchain and artificial intelligence to track personal health progress and to suggest tailored tips. Social features encourage users to meet others and to build friendships and healthy habits offline. The tools include a local event calendar, a routine builder, a chat with a professional and a personal progress tracker. A short questionnaire at sign-up identifies the skills each user can develop.
Pal App by Drew Tozer has been highlighted as a creative representation of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Pal App received the Silver A' Design Award in Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design in 2020. The A' Mobile Technologies, Applications and Software Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize which celebrates superior design of smartphones, tablets, wearables, mobile applications, mobile games, mobile software, mobile platforms, mobile interfaces and more.
