Live in Letters
Live in Letters is a residential interior design in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan. The 146.6 square metre home was created for a client with large book storage needs and a preference for black-based space. A large black book wall is built with iron and steel frames, layered with wood grain veneer and wooden shelves. The entrance sidewall is finished with Italian fresco stucco paint applied in random brush strokes. An irregular sofa, an amorphous television wall, an extra-long dining table for eight and a complete dressing room shape the layout.
Live in Letters Residence by Chia-Ling Sun and Hsuan-Jung Pan has been featured as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Live in Letters Residence earned the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade which recognizes exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
