Sun Bathed Greenery
Sun Bathed Greenery is a residential interior design completed in Hsinchu County, Taiwan. The home follows a minimalist approach, with a black, beige and grey color scheme and no superfluous decoration. Large windows bring in natural light and frame the view of a green park in front of the building. An original partition wall was removed, so the study and the living room remain connected and sunlight reaches the whole interior. Materials include steel-brushed timber veneer, special paint, marble-patterned artificial masonry slate, imported tiles and black metalwork.
Sun Bathed Greenery Residence by Derson Chiu was highlighted as an exceptional illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Sun Bathed Greenery Residence won the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design accolade that honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
