Amer F 100
Amer F 100 is a pleasure superyacht designed for extended stays at sea. The exterior reduces the fiberglass surface and adds large side windows, which give a brighter interior and a wider view of the sea. The internal area is increased by removing the external side passage. The bow area is reached by a sea promenade from the cockpit. The layout follows the blue mind philosophy, keeping guests in constant visual contact with the water. A main challenge was to balance the added weight of the glass with lightweight building materials and furniture.
Amer F 100 Pleasure Superyacht by Barbara / Amerio has been featured as an exceptional representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Amer F 100 Pleasure Superyacht was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Yacht and Marine Vessels Design in 2020. The A' Yacht and Marine Vessels Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition which recognizes exceptional design of sailboats, motor yachts, catamarans, trimarans, superyachts, explorer yachts, sportfishing yachts, luxury houseboats and more.
