Yulai Fang
Yulai Fang is a restaurant interior covering 215 square meters inside a busy shopping mall. The design connects and overlaps geometric shapes to form a combined facade. Terrazzo and mirror stainless steel divide the indoor and outdoor areas. The entrance keeps the orange and black colors of the brand identity. A semi-open entrance allows light and views to pass through. Mirror ceilings reduce the heavy feeling of the low areas and create varied reflections. A long table area and a square table area serve different groups of guests.
Yulai Fang Restaurant by Yue Jiang has been selected as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Awards. Yulai Fang Restaurant was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which rewards exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
