Heytea
Heytea Xi'an is the interior design of a tea shop for a chain brand, covering 320 square meters. Rammed earth is combined with cement, mirror and metal in the form of geometric blocks to create a pure and concise space. Frosted glass on the facade contrasts with the texture of the rammed earth. Matte stainless steel reflections shape the ceiling and support a modern tone. A structural column is treated as a block device, which gives rhythm to the narrow area. Wheat ears and reeds form a landscape that links the interior with the street.
Heytea Store by Uno Chan was highlighted as a grand representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Heytea Store won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design recognition program which recognizes superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
