Yuexiang Lake
Yuexiang Lake is an exhibition center located in Yuhong District, Shenyang. The building follows a new Chinese style that draws on traditional courtyard culture. The garden is divided into four courtyards arranged along two axes, north and south, so each area offers a different atmosphere. The entrance gate is 9 meters high and 32 meters wide and is made of Portuguese Beige stone. A cantilevered canopy 32 meters long guides movement into the site. A sunken club with a height of 6.6 meters adds spatial depth within a limited area.
Yuexiang Lake Exhibition Center by Tengyuan Design was featured as a grand example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Yuexiang Lake Exhibition Center received the Golden A' Design Award in Architecture, Building and Structure Design in 2020. The A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design accolade that recognizes exceptional design of skyscrapers, museums, residential buildings, commercial complexes, educational institutions, religious structures, infrastructure designs, landscaping projects and more.
