Art Villa
Art Villa is a four story residential interior design covering 380 square meters. Some walls were removed to make full use of the large space, and glass partitions divide the rooms while daylight passes through them. The second floor is the largest open area and holds the kitchen, dining room and living room. Stone, wood and other rough materials are used throughout. Hidden doors conceal the storeroom and the toilet. A sliding door separates a quiet studio from the children's area, which opens onto a courtyard.
Art Villa Residential House by Lycent Lai has been featured as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Art Villa Residential House was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program which honors excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
