Lambri
Lambri is an apartment interior design project located near a beach in Rio de Janeiro. The renovation connects the internal spaces with the external views of the sea. A light color palette with blue tones recalls the ocean, while travertine marble floors and off-white stucco walls suggest the color of sand. Lacquered wood paneling, inspired by fishermen houses, covers selected walls and ceilings and conceals doors, cabinets and trapdoors. Contemporary Brazilian and Italian furniture is combined with antique pieces and custom bookshelves.
Lambri Apartment by Gisele Taranto was featured as an innovative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Lambri Apartment was awarded the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design award that rewards excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
