Tirpse
Tirpse is a restaurant and bar interior located inside a retail development in Hong Kong. The space of 3200 square feet is planned around the story of a visit to a chef's private dining hut. Five key elements shape the interior: a forest and its surroundings, the chef's wolf companion, the private hut, a tale told through food and a treasure chest. The treasure chest is a secluded seating area placed in a deep corner. Simple materials and details were selected to suit a three month construction period and a limited budget.
Tirpse Bar and Restaurant by Minus Workshop has been selected as a creative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Tirpse Bar and Restaurant won the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade that honors exceptional design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
