Modern Jiangnan
Modern Jiangnan Beer Music is a restaurant interior in Hangzhou. The design covers three floors and an outdoor area, with a total area of 1200 square meters. A stage and a three meter high LED screen are placed on the first floor. The second floor uses a stand-like layout, similar to a European opera house, so guests above can watch the performances below. Metallic tones from beer barrels and copper are combined with smoky gray granite on the walls, floors and tables. A luminous white beer bottle silhouette, 9.9 meters high, marks the entrance.
Modern Jiangnan Restaurant by Zhixue Wei has been featured as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Modern Jiangnan Restaurant was awarded the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design prize that honors superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
