Space Stack
Space Stack is a residential interior designed as a vacation house in Taiwan. The home is used by a couple who return to the country and often host guests, so the plan offers hotel style accommodation with a dressing room and a bathroom for visitors. Space lines and colors are simplified, and the storage room, guest bathroom and bedroom entrances are set behind hidden door panels. The main wall of the living room is clad in grey marble, whose reflective surface extends the sense of space. Materials include stone, iron, solid wood, glass and mirror.
Space Stack Residential House by Yu-Wen Chiu (Vita) has been identified as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Space Stack Residential House was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design competition which celebrates superior design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
