Limonio
Limonio is a dining chair made for interiors with different design styles. The chair has clean lines and a simplified biomorphic backrest that contrasts with thin tapered legs, creating an asymmetrical balance. The exposed frame is kept minimal and is completed with brass details. The bent plywood backrest and the seat are joined by solid wood trapezoids pegged with brass. High density foam and the tapered stance give the chair a light appearance. Production combines industrial methods with craft work.
Limonio Dining Chair by Justin Wheatcroft and Jose Ballesteros has been selected as a grand example of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Limonio Dining Chair earned the Silver A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2020. The A' Furniture Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design competition which rewards excellent design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
