Irozuki
Irozuki is a wall calendar that changes color every month. Each month shows a different color and expression, so the calendar acts as a colorful accent within a simple interior. When a month ends, the finished sheet is moved to the back of the calendar. After six months, all sheets are turned over together and a second set of color combinations appears. Only six printed papers are used for twelve months. The calendar measures 220 mm by 260 mm. The package is shaped like a flower and is cut from double papers so the form is kept on any display.
Irozuki Calendar by Takafumi Miki was identified as an outstanding example of communication design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Irozuki Calendar earned the Iron A' Design Award in Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design in 2020. The A' Graphics, Illustration and Visual Communication Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design competition which celebrates superior design of logos, posters, infographics, brochures, packaging designs, business cards, book covers, billboards and more.
