Yorkshire Villa
Yorkshire Villa is a residential interior design for a four-story duplex lakefront villa in Chongqing. The mountainous terrain places the entrance on the second floor, which links to the third floor and serves as a shared living space for the family. The ground floor opens to an outdoor garden, and the basement level holds a room for entertainment. Walls between two adjoining villas were removed to connect the interiors. A skylight and a tall open void bring daylight into the bright reception room. Natural materials add texture and a sense of comfort.
Yorkshire Villa Residential House by Kot Ge was highlighted as an outstanding representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Yorkshire Villa Residential House was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is a highly prestigious international design award that celebrates excellent design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
