Living Haven
Living Haven is a residential interior design for a family duplex in Taipei, Taiwan. The lower level holds the living room, dining area, kitchen, master bedroom and a multi-purpose studio. The upper level is given to the children, with bedrooms, a playroom and a wide hallway. A tempered glass wall reaches from floor to ceiling to protect the children and to let natural light pass through. Curves shape the arched door frames, the cabinet edges and the stairway handrail. Recessed lighting gives a soft ambiance to the white and natural wood palette.
Living Haven Residential Interior Design by Zumn Design Studio was highlighted as an innovative example of architectural design by the A' Design Award. Living Haven Residential Interior Design won the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design award that honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
