U Style
U Style is a hair studio interior located on the fifteenth floor of an office building in Fuzhou, China. The project covers 60 square meters within a narrow space. Curved lines move freely through the interior and overlap to form planes and a three-dimensional layout. Red is the main color and is applied in several shades, while large gray areas balance the strong tone. Green and white details are added to the fittings. The entrance is narrow and then opens out, recalling the passage from a cave into a valley.
U Style Office by Jifang Jiang has been featured as an innovative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. U Style Office won the Golden A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize that honors outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
