Haleiwa Chair by Melissa Mae Tan was identified as a grand example of industrial design by the A' Design Awards. Haleiwa Chair received the Silver A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2020. The A' Furniture Design Award is a highly prestigious international design prize that rewards outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
