The Heaven Villa
The Heaven Villa is a residential interior design completed in Taipei, Taiwan. The villa combines classical and modern styles through stone, carbonized wood and a dark color tone. Several types of stone are used, including splashed ink stone and red and green dragon and phoenix stone. Most of the stone is taken from factory leftover material and arranged with collage methods. A fish bone collage forms the floors of the living room, dining room and study room. Strip lights and a mirrored ceiling mark areas within the dark interior.
The Heaven Villa Residential by Yu Ju Lin has been recognized as a creative representation of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. The Heaven Villa Residential received the Iron A' Design Award in Interior Space and Exhibition Design in 2020. The A' Interior Space, Retail and Exhibition Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design accolade that celebrates outstanding design of residential interiors, restaurants, hotels, offices, galleries, retail stores, showrooms, exhibition spaces and more.
