W-3E Mask
During the epidemic, people wear masks, which cover people’s faces and reduce the efficiency of communication. The W-3E mask uses facial recognition and an internal projector to project corresponding expression patterns. The replaceable filter element reduces the waste of resources, the radiators on both sides make the air more comfortable, and the external display screen feedbacks the user's physical state in real time.
W-3E Mask Expressive Emotion by Shengtao Ma was identified as an innovative example of strategy design by the A' Design Award & Competition. W-3E Mask Expressive Emotion earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Futuristic Design in 2021. The A' Futuristic Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize that honors exceptional design of conceptual architectures, advanced robotics, innovative transportation systems, futuristic fashion designs, progressive furniture pieces, Next-Gen electronic gadgets, revolutionary software interfaces, groundbreaking biotech innovations and more.
