Joyful Visang
Joyful Visang is a series of elementary school textbooks for mathematics, social studies and science. The textbooks are centred on play and activity to support active participation by students. Each cover reflects the subject content: geometric shapes form familiar objects for mathematics, an unfolding view of the world for social studies, and stories of heroes for science. Rounded corners and an antibacterial coating improve safety. A foldable flap serves as a bookmark, a perforated area allows name writing, and lenticular printing adds a three-dimensional effect.
Joyful Visang Textbooks by VISANG has been featured as a grand example of service design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Joyful Visang Textbooks won the Silver A' Design Award in Education, Teaching Aid and Training Content Design in 2022. The A' Education, Teaching Aid and Training Content Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize which rewards excellent design of textbooks, E-Learning platforms, educational games, training manuals, instructional videos, interactive whiteboards, educational software, lesson plans and more.
