The Land of Rocks
The Land of Rocks is a temporary exhibition space created for a sintered stone brand at Guangzhou Design Week in 2020. The booth covers 180 square meters. A semi-enclosed and semi-open layout guides visitors along a varied route, while cut openings in the arranged walls allow the stone patterns to be seen from the outside and from the inside. A curved structure named Rock Flower stands at the center of the stage. The design makes the relationship between sintered stone, habitation and the city visible and easy to experience.
The Land of Rocks Temporary Exhibitions by Weixian He has been featured as an outstanding example of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. The Land of Rocks Temporary Exhibitions received the Silver A' Design Award in Trade Show Architecture, Interiors, and Exhibit Design in 2023.
