South China Book Festival
South China Book Festival is an exhibition design created for a public cultural event held in Guangzhou. The exhibition area covers 9,050 square meters and was built in two days. Recyclable modular structures and digital interactive equipment combine real scenes with virtual reality. The spatial layout follows the order of three entrances and five rooms, drawn from the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall. Six themed zones are identified by different flowers and colors. Open sightlines and accessible passages link every zone into one continuous reading route.
South China Book Festival Exhibition by Muchuan Xu was featured as a creative illustration of architectural design by the A' Design Award & Competition. South China Book Festival Exhibition won the Iron A' Design Award in Trade Show Architecture, Interiors, and Exhibit Design in 2024. The A' Trade Show Architecture, Interiors, and Exhibit Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design recognition program which honors exceptional design of trade show interiors, exhibits, booths, pavilions, showrooms, kiosks, installations, Pop-Ups, displays and more.
