Feel Ordinary Life
Feel Ordinary Life is a set of scented candles shaped like ginger, garlic and scallions, three common ingredients of Chinese cooking. The candles are handmade and moulded to copy the natural form of each plant. Each candle holds its own blend of essential oils. The ginger candle carries floral and fruity notes, while the scallion candle carries woody and floral notes. The asymmetrical shapes make every candle burn in a different way as the wax melts. The design links familiar kitchen forms with a refined scent experience.
Feel Ordinary Life Aromatic Candles by Chunyang Wang has been recognized as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Feel Ordinary Life Aromatic Candles earned the Bronze A' Design Award in Giftware Design in 2025. The A' Giftware Design Award is an international, jury-voted, fair and ethical design prize that recognizes outstanding design of candles, figurines, picture frames, decorative plates, ornaments, souvenirs, personalized mugs, collectibles and more.
