Renaissance
Renaissance is a trench coat designed for both daily and evening wear. The coat is made of wool and has a magnetic closure. Further magnets are placed in the lining. Short handwritten messages on Tyvek paper can be attached to these magnets to change the look. The trench coat can be worn plain for work and then personalised later in the day. The design is urban and minimal in form. Sizing covers 34 to 42, or small to large. The intent is to offer one garment with two moods, from formal to playful.
Renaissance Trench Coat by Adina Banea has been selected as a creative example of fashion design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Renaissance Trench Coat earned the Silver A' Design Award in Fashion, Apparel and Garment Design in 2018. The A' Fashion, Apparel and Garment Design Award is a juried, academic and highly prestigious design prize which recognizes superior design of runway collections, dresses, suits, skirts, outerwear, jackets, apparel, garments and more.
