Bamboo Joint
Plus+ is a modular screwdriver designed for compact storage and quick tool selection. Each section carries a different tool bit. Sections can be added or removed to change the total length, so Plus+ adapts to different working spaces and stays easy to carry. The tool holder lets bits be inserted and removed quickly, and the grip is comfortable to hold. A clear symbol on each bit makes the correct head simple to recognize. The body is shaped by rubber injection molding. The modular units reduce storage space and resource waste.
Bamboo Joint Screwdriver by Wenkai Xue was identified as a creative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Bamboo Joint Screwdriver received the Silver A' Design Award in Hardware, Power and Hand Tools Design in 2018. The A' Hardware, Power and Hand Tools Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design recognition program that rewards outstanding design of drills, saws, hammers, wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, tape measures, levels and more.
