Goolalang
Goolalang is a coding education platform for young children. Goolalang uses a drag-and-drop programming language created for the kindergarten stage. A program looks like a road seen from above, with signs that show the direction of the flow, and a footprint marks the block that is running. Children build scenes by importing sprites and backgrounds from libraries, then attach programming blocks to write stories and animations with several sprites. A series of courses is included, and programs can be shared between devices.
Goolalang Coding Educational Platform by Yinghan Jin has been selected as a grand example of service design by the A' Design Award. Goolalang Coding Educational Platform won the Iron A' Design Award in Education, Teaching Aid and Training Content Design in 2020. The A' Education, Teaching Aid and Training Content Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design prize which recognizes exceptional design of textbooks, E-Learning platforms, educational games, training manuals, instructional videos, interactive whiteboards, educational software, lesson plans and more.
