Dorina Nowill
Dorina Nowill is an annual report designed for a foundation that serves people who are blind or have low vision. Braille points are used throughout the publication, forming phrases and textures alongside the printed text. The cover carries dry relief dots, so the report can also be read by touch. The pages are printed in four colours on offset paper, chosen for its porous and tactile surface. The report records the results of the fiscal year and sets guidelines for the following year. The design aims to make the publication inclusive for every reader.
Dorina Nowill Annual Report by Ruis Vargas has been selected as a grand representation of communication design by the A' Design Award. Dorina Nowill Annual Report earned the Silver A' Design Award in Print and Published Media Design in 2020. The A' Print and Published Media Design Award is an international, juried, academic and meritocratic design prize which celebrates superior design of brochures, posters, magazines, catalogs, flyers, business cards, billboards, books and more.
