Mixed Reality
Mixed Reality is an interactive holographic installation created for an exhibition stand about the energy strategy of the city of Moscow. The installation is based on the Pepper's Ghost principle, which was extended with additional layers. A LED backdrop wall, three floor projectors and ceiling mounted LED lighting work together with holographic foil, mirrors and sound. Animated light and shadow give the projected objects a strong sense of presence. Visitors select a topic on a touch screen and watch figures and graphs appear and dissolve in the air.
Mixed Reality Holographic Installation by Inty LLC was identified as an innovative example of service design by the A' Design Awards. Mixed Reality Holographic Installation earned the Silver A' Design Award in Event and Happening Design in 2020. The A' Event and Happening Design Award is an international, meritocratic, just and fair design competition that celebrates excellent design of trade fairs, award ceremonies, festivals, conferences, exhibitions, concerts, product launches, charity events and more.
